Foster Care Fortnight: Become a foster carer in North Lincolnshire

Published on May 11, 2020

North Lincolnshire Council is looking for people to look after children and is actively recruiting people who could provide foster care to vulnerable children. Foster care provides vulnerable children with family based care.

It is more important than ever that new foster carers are recruited and supported to care for children, who for whatever reason, cannot be cared for by their family.

The government has now made the process of becoming a foster carer more flexible for people living and working differently to help those in need. The council is looking for more foster carers and now is the time to consider looking after a child who needs care.

Could you look after a child, help them feel safe, loved and supported to develop? If yes, or even maybe, we would love to hear from you to talk things through.

Please get in touch by contacting the North Lincolnshire Fostering Service on 01724 297024, text ‘foster’ to 84433 or visit www.northlncs.gov.uk/foster.
