This privacy statement only covers the North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group (North Lincolnshire CCG) website. It does not cover all sites that can be linked to from this site, so you should always be aware when you are moving to another site and read the privacy statement on that site.
What information do we collect?
From time to time, you will be asked to submit personal information about yourself (e.g.name and email address) in order to receive or use services on our website. Such services include bulletins, email updates, website feedback. By entering your details in the fields requested, you enable North Lincolnshire CCG and its service providers to provide you with the services you select. Any information you provide to North Lincolnshire CCG will only be used by us, our agents and service providers and will not be disclosed unless we are obliged or permitted to by law to do so.
If you post or send offensive, inappropriate or objectionable content anywhere on http://www.northlincolnshireccg.nhs.uk/ or otherwise engage in any disruptive behavior on http://www.northlincolnshireccg.nhs.uk/ we may use whatever information is available to us, about you, to stop such behaviour. We will hold your personal information on our systems for as long as you use the service you have requested, and remove it in the event that the purpose has been met or when you no longer wish to continue your subscription.
North Lincolnshire CCG is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) as a data controller and collects data for a variety of purposes. The Data Protection Act
Under the Data Protection Act, we have a legal duty to protect any information we collect from you. We use leading technologies and encryption software to safeguard your data and keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorised access to it. We will not pass on your details to any third party or other government department unless you consent to this or when it is necessary and we are allowed or required to by law.
The Information Commissioner maintains a public register of organisations that use personal data. The Clinical Commission Group registration number is Z3527078.
The entry sets down:
- the purpose for which the persoal data are held, such as personnel, marketing, research;
- categories of individuals, such as employees, service users, CCG members;
- categories of personal data held, such as name, address, medical history;
- to whom the personal data will be disclosed, such as NHS England, central government;
- whether personal information will be transferred overseas.
Departments intending to process personal data not covered by the Registration must contact the Information Governance Team at email@example.com before commencing such processing.
The CCG’s notification with the Information Commissioner is on behalf of all departments within the CCG and is maintained by the Information Governance Team for an annual fee. There is no need for departments to pay any additional fees. Companies exist which pose as “collectors on behalf of data protection”. There is no connection between the Information Commissioner and these companies.
